This is more of a per document solution, so it will work for you if you have 1 document with many hyperlinks.

Ok, so neither one of those solutions will solve your issue. The reason is because the "look in" feature is a property of Windows.
there are 2 real possibilites that would work for you.
1. create a shortcut to the default location and place it on your desktop, this will let you double click on it inside the window instead of going to the "look in" dropdown.
2. There might be a way to force the change using a tweaker such as TweakUI (from microsoft)
