Disable hardware acceleration, lower the game resolution, dust out your laptop, or use VGA mode.
it sounds like your laptop's video card is failing due to heat issues. it may already be damaged but this is unlikely. assuming that it isn't, other possibilities are that a driver isn't working at 100%. in this case, VGA mode should work ok for you with 1 exception: your game might run slow.
restart the computer and continuously press the 'F8' key before any microsoft logos appear. you should see a menu to start in safe mode, safe mode with networking..etc. one of those options should be VGA mode. select that mode, run your game and you should be fine.
Keep visiting windowsupdate.microsoft.com and select "custom" updates to search for video drivers that may eventually permanently fix the problem.

Thank you for your quick reply.
However I suppose the video card is damaged, because the screen freezes also without playng the game, and in VGA mode too...

try spraying the hell out of the thing with some compressed air first. it may be that your video card has a bad fan and dust is keeping it from spinning. it's a long shot but worth a try.

Thank you for the hint. I have downloaded form this site: http://www.9manuals.com/ the disassembly manual of the laptop; I try to operate as you say. I let you know if this works.
Thank you for you help!
