Your router should have a tiny button at the back. If its anything like the linksys one, you may need a sharp instrument to press it. Usually hold it down for a few seconds.
This will reset everything including password. The default for netgear I believe is
username : admin
password : password (or 1234 for older routers)

Thanks the author, very useful advice. my pc's internet connection is very slow, which always drive me crazy, I want a program to solve my slow computer, several days ago my friend recommend me a software tuneup360, now I'm waiting for the result.
