As far as I know laptop keyboards do not have any 'sensitivity' settings. A key is either 'on' or 'off'. Is it all keys on the keyboard that have this problem or only a few of them? It could perhaps be a hardware fault. Have you tried to remove any of the keys in the past? They are quite fiddly to get off and on again and can cause your problems if they have not been properly put back.

Dear rmantingh: Thanks for the response! I have never tried to remove any of the keys from this machine- I did, however, find a keyboard setting that was not set at the 'quickest' repeat setting, and having made that adjustment it is somewhat improved. I must be too used to my old desktop keyboard that was lightning quick. You have solved the question as to whether or not there is a sensitivity setting, I couldn't
find one either! Many thanks, Rob.

I am bothered with the slow internet connection for quite a long time, but now I found an easy way to handle my problem, which is the software tuneup360.
