How Quomon Works

How the System Works

Each user within Quomon's network has a Point Bank where they have a balance of points within their account. (Users are given 500 points to start)
When a user asks questions, they must designate how much the answer is worth by adding a point value to that question. The more the points that are designated to the question, the more incentive people have to answer it accurately and timely.
After the question is answered, the points are taken out of the point bank of the individual who asked the question, and then distributed to the Point Bank(s) of the individual(s) who answer the question correctly.
The individuals who answered the question correctly also get recognized for their expertise in the categories that the question is relevant to. As they answer more questions in a given category, they are ranked against other experts in those fields and Quomon distinguishes who is most knowlegable in the different areas. Potential employers are able to search through and contact experts about job opportunities, contract or consultant work, etc.
