I am working on a manufacturing tool that stores alarms, recipes, parameters, etc. in .db files. In another directory the same file name .db has a .sql extention. For example alarms.db is paired with alarms.sql. The .sql files all start with 'create table "filename.db"' followed by the parameters and data type that it is (integer,char). What is the easiest way to open the database files with the .sql files? I am not sure, or will never know, what dbase software was used to create them. I have installed MySQL Workbench, but lack the knowledge to run the script in conjunction with the .db file.

I purchased a Philips 250 GIG external hard drive to use on an XP 32bit computer a few years ago. The drive came with Nero Backitup software. I rarely use this machine and to use the hard drive on a Vista 64 bit system would mean purchasing up to date software from Nero which would cost me £39.99. I do not wish to spend this kind of money as it could be utilised elsewhere. I am not familiar with the internal workings of computers, apart from installing a second disc drive. Is it possible to do this and if so how easy or difficult would it be to remove the drive from it,s casing and use it internally. I am a website desgner, well that's what I call myself, and have desinged and built many sites. Today though an existing client wants to intergrate a shopping basket into his site but I have never dabbled into it and quite frankly it looks a little scary!

I am going to refurbish the site for him provided I can do this but wondered what the best way to have a shopping basket (to match the design of the site) would be? Can I get software that builds them or is it best to have another dedicated company do it then intergrate it into the site??

Hello Sir/Madam

I posted my question 16-4-2009 and gor immediate reply from side for which i am thankful to you. However as suggested by you the solution still puts me in doubt as the problem of my laptop started after upgrading the BIOS.
Someone posted me the solution to downgrade the BIOS which I did to F.14 As a result the fan became slow and the touch pad became somewhat cool. But now also sometimes the fan continues to run fast and touch pad gets heated when i run a heavy software or so. The RAM usage sometimes constantly remains between 50-70%. I installed a software "coretemp" which probably shows the temp. of CPU and that shows some times 70-63 degrees and sometimes 30-35 degrees. I am not sure when my set was manufactured but one date has been mentioned there 3-9-2008 may be the shipping date or something else on the packaging box
No one has posted a good solution. As such I request you to kindly guide me what exactly i should do to overcome this problem because my system is not behaving properly as it use to be at the time of purchase. Should i downgrade it more?
Pls post solution at . Also if you could provide me the original factory BIOS version.
