<title>How do I connect our Laptop to our Wireless HP5850 Printer?</title>
      <link>https://quomon.com/45999/How-do-I-connect-our-Laptop-to-our-Wireless-HP5850-Printer</link>
<description>I am trying to install a wireless printer (HP 5850) on our laptop. The printer is showing Shared, Share Name is HP5850. I have tried to specify the printer by IP address (found and verified through DOS on our main PC). I tried disabling the firewall on the laptop but that didn't help. I can see two I still can't get to the printer and am pretty defeated right now. I have tried both installing from the disk and from the Control Panel. Under the Control Panel, I can see 2 networks, MSHOME and WORKGROUP. When I put in HP5850 as the printer name (per our desktop PC) I get a nasty note saying "Windows cannot connect to the printer". HELP.</description>
