I have a user who cannot access emails using vpn but when he comes to the offices its OK.I do support for their office from another state.He can access other network resources thru vpn except emails.Sometimes it asks him if he can work offline but nothing comes up after accepting to work offline.He is a 1000ks away from me.How can I solve this.Plz Help

Using Win 7 home edition. When close wo a wifi hot spot I can connect to the internet. I use a 3G modem when at home to access the internet. I have tries several imes to install the HP P1100w printer and the blue wireless light on the printer keeps flashing. I am able to install the HP 1100p via the USB connection and print.

How do I set this up on my new toshiba laptop.

IF you simply implement User Access Control on any machine UAC, ALl viruses will have no ability to propagate. I have about 6 machines ALL with UAC implemented, none have any issues with viral ifenction. It just simply cannot happen, regardless of contact with WEB viruses or trojans.

My XP Professional boots up but the mouse and keyboard do not work.

Recently my XP system has started booting but cannot access the system as the mouse and keyboard will not work. I have purchased a USB powered keyboard and mouse but still nothing happens. The same problem arises with the P/S2 keyboard and mouse. I am a novice to computing and this is very frustrating. The system is about six years old and has all the updates installed. I have a 250gig HDD and 1 gig of ram. I own genuine MICROSOFT XP Professional and Home Edition discs which have been installed times without number with no problems.The computer was manufactured by Tiny who unfortunately no longer exist. The disc player is also not recognised by the system. When a disc is loaded the disc player starts up but nothing shows on screen. I have checked that all the connections are secure inside the tower and as far as I know all is well there.
I would appreciate any advice as to what the problem is.Much as I would like to purchase a new computer that is beyond my means. Thank you for reading this.

I downloaded Thunderbird and it loaded all my mail from my webmail including 33,000 deleted mails, now it just freezes all the time, I cant access anything to delete the trash in Thunderbird, I tried uninstalling and reinstalling and it still picks up the same files. Any suggestions what to do?

If you continue to receive this message, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).'" and i can not access my site on eny computer in my domain. other browsing is ok only our website is not access in my domain.

About the first or second week of march. All of a sudden and for no obvious
reason, anytime I try to use internet explorer of any form of MSN/Microsoft
it tells me that access is blocked. If I have sinned against Microsoft, please

Presently the laptop connects direct wireless to 1 printer. (For internet it connects to a wireless modem/router.) Want to add a 2nd wireless printer directly accessable to the laptop. Also, can a 2nd wireless laptop directly access either of these same 2 wireless printers without conflict?

I have xp pro and Firefox, ie,and Netscape for browsers.. just recently I can not connect to all web sites that I use to like winnie winster or hotmail, I can do this at work but now I can't at home I can't figure out what is causing just certain web sites unable to open. the message I receive is problem loading page The connection has timed out

I would like to track all changes done to record. I found this script:

I am very new to scripting, so have no idea where this needs to go. The directions tell me to add this to the form, in the field "After Update". I was told I needed Java in order to open a file which I already had but for some reason stopped working, so when I tried to down load it it said I already had it. What is the the maximum number of records that you can have in an access form? I am re-writing the application in an entirely different language, but it will not be done for a while so I need to get an answer for this issue. There is a dropdown an an Access form, that is connected to a MS SQL backend, and as the list gets longer, the dropdown is missing data at the end. It is alphabetic and it only goes to "WE" now and does not show any other W, X, Y or Z's now. I think it has maxed the number of records it can display in a dropdown. Does anyone have an answer to this?

I've added a laptop I brought from home to my two station wireless network at my office. This new station can be seen by the existing stations, but file access between the old and this new station is blocked. I've unistalled Zone Alarm thinking my firewall was to blame but still have the problem. File sharing settings are correct. I'm suspecting a virus - though I've run several of the more commone virus checkers and still have the problem. Any ideas?

I need to create a database in Access 2003 with the same/similar structure as a MS SQL Server 2000 database. I also need to copy the data.

I have tried to generate the sql statements in ms sql server and then running them in the query window of Access, but that didn't work since the datatypes are not equal.

I've backed up my wordpress mysql database to a file with extension .sql . I'd like to access the data in that file, perhaps to repurpose the postings. I'm hoping there's some way to open it., preferably in MS Access.

I've tried opening it directly in Access 2002, but it doesn't support the format, nor is it one of the file options to link to. I know I can link to other databases from Access using ODBC. I've set up odbc connections before, but I haven't the foggiest how to set up an odbc connection to this file. I have some inkling I'm supposed to install mysql in order to read the file and then access it, but the msql site didn't yield much in the way of guidance for me.

If someone could point me in the right direction, that'd be great.

I am trying to install and open source forum program and not really sure where to start. The directions are telling me to:

"Next, run the install.sql file in either SQL 2000, Access, or MySQL for
Windows. Set up appropriate username/password permissions for

But when I try to open the install.sql file in Access it just tells me it doesnt support that file type. Help.
