I have tried to remove word as the email editor but it is greyed out in my mail format settings. I have html selected as my type of format. I have also renamed outcmd.dat as outcmd.old and that hasn't worked. What else can I try?

Experiencing problem with Outlook Express when iPad is used to access same email account

I am getting a 0x800ccc90 error message 'Your incoming (POP3) e-mail ... It is most of the time an invalid user/password information' after configuring a iPad to access the same email account. XP Laptop has SP3 installed and is running OE6. When the iPad is powered down email on the LT works fine. If I turn on the iPad and check email, OE kick out the 0x800ccc90 error code. If I power down the iPad OE starts working again. Customer is using Time Warner Cable.

I have another customer experiencing similar problems with her XP desktop and iPad. In this case, OE and iPad worked just fine until SP3 was installed on XP DT. Now getting the same 0x800ccc90 error code on the DT. Physically turning off the iPad does NOT resolve the OE problem. As I mentioned, everything co-existed quite well before XP SP3. I have confirmed that correct user name and password are used on OE. I can log into web mail with the same credentials as OE.

Is there possibly a conflict btw XP SP3, OE and iPad?

What folder should you restore your backup in? I restored but it didn't transfer my address book.

I am very new to visual basic, I know that this question is very easy for you so I hope you can help me. I need to by using datagridview, I want to see the data inside the different text files. In the first column is where I will type in a word, then when I click the search button, the column 2 to 4 will populate. For column 2 it will show the position of the word in the text stream, (by the way I was able to find out how to input strings (sentences) in a text file using VB, it took me a very long time to find out), column 3 is the number of characters of the who text message (the word in the column 1 is the first word of the text message), then column 4 will show if the text message is active or delected, if the text message is active I can change it to deleted. If there is no text message that has a first word the same with the word I keyed in the column 1 a message will prompt that "no text message with that first word" (I think I know how do do it, probably I will use "If" statement then msgbox. If they want to quote for this job they have to text back with a selected code, which will then activate the payment and a confirmation text with the consumers details will be sent to 3 trade’s men. (Only 3 trade’s men will be able to purchase the lead. Prices are fro £10 + Vat to £35 + Vat

The same action will apply to an e-mail sent out as well.

We are using Win XP as our operating system & MS outlook 2003 as a mail client. Our User has received a mail from one of our customer & he gets the above error. He forwarded that mail to me to rectify the problem. Tried most of the options searched on the net in outlook 2003.

2. Replacing Restricted zone option to Internet Zone.
3. Changing the options "Use Microsoft Office Word 2003 to edit e-mail
messages" & "Use Microsoft Office Word 2003 to read Rich Text e-mail
messages"
4. Changing the message format: 1. HTML, 2. Rich Text, 3. Plain Text.

Applying the above options still teh problem is not resolved. PLs help me to sort this issue as the customer is important for us & we receive n mails from him.

Outlook 2007, seeing Chinese characters

I am running Outlook 2007 with a group wise connector. I get several emails a day and they all look fine, accept from one person. When ever I receive an email from this person I get Chinese characters. I can access my email from the web as well via Novell web based and the email is in english characters. Any ideas what the issue could be?
