I can't access to google when I open Firefox, instead the browser redirects me to a webpage containing cassiopesa search engine. I used another laptop to check this cassiopesa search and many forums like this one introduce that it is malware. I tried to reset the Firefox but invalid. How can I fix the issue?

It's a site called www.myschool.in.com (my school's website). We have distinct IDs give to each student of the school and after logging in, we can see announcements, homework,etc. and socialise (though it isn't that advanced). I posted a comment earlier on one of my classmate's status and I want to delete it now as soon as possible. But, the site is not that "awesome" or "efficient" to provide us with 'Remove Comment' buttons and I really need to remove that comment. It doesn't even have an 'x' button like most sites do so I was thinking of some hackery or programming trick or something like that if possible....I would want to remove that comment from the whole length and breadth of the site. Please tell me how to!

My computer slows down when connected to internet

First of all - I am NOT talking about internet speed (that's pretty good, down 20 Mbps and up 5,9 Mbps)

Second of all - excuse my english. :)

The thing is, that entire computer seems to slow down. Not dramaticaly, but enough to bother me. Some examples:

When I'm typing something in google, or IM, sometimes it freezes for 5 seconds or so, then the writing shows up, copying my actions during the freeze (writing, deleting letters...), but much faster.

Browsing seems not to be affected, but it's hard to tell - couse I can't compare it to browsing with internet cable unplugged for obvious reasons :)

What I can compare is the performance while I play off-line games. I've been playing Half-life 2 recently. No lags, no problems at all. As long as internet cable is unplugged.

On the other side, cable plugged in, couses game to run slower. Lot of lags, graphics as well as sound. Not browser, nor IM turn on. Nothing changed, but the cable is plugged in.

I would like to play some multiplayer games, but it's not that fun with lags every other second.

My system specifications:
HP Pavilion dv5 Notebook PC
Windows Vista Home Premium SP2
AMD Turion X2 Dual-Core Mobile RM-72 2.1 GHz
RAM 4 GB
ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3450 (512 MB)
Realtek RTL8168C(P)/811C(P) Family PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet NIC (NDIS 6.0)

What did I tried? I changed cables, i tried other ISP (other location, at school) and I'm going to re-install Vista (or move to win 7) after exams, if noone will come up with simple solution to my problem.

We are using Win XP as our operating system & MS outlook 2003 as a mail client. Our User has received a mail from one of our customer & he gets the above error. He forwarded that mail to me to rectify the problem. Tried most of the options searched on the net in outlook 2003.

1. Allowing ActiveX controls from the restricted zone.
2. Replacing Restricted zone option to Internet Zone.
3. Changing the options "Use Microsoft Office Word 2003 to edit e-mail
messages" & "Use Microsoft Office Word 2003 to read Rich Text e-mail
messages"
4. Changing the message format: 1. HTML, 2. Rich Text, 3. Plain Text.

Applying the above options still teh problem is not resolved. PLs help me to sort this issue as the customer is important for us & we receive n mails from him.

I have an xp desktop computer with an hp 5650 printer attached. The desktop connects to the internet via a wireless adaptor to our fios home network. This original setup works great.

I now have a vista laptop and a windows 7 laptop that access the internet fine thru our fios home network but I can not get them to print thru the existing printer connected to the desktop mentioned above.

Any window, while on internet or not, I have to control, alt, delete, bring to front, close task manager and then I can click on that window, otherwise mouse does not work on that window. Not for selection or drop downs, have to tab from one box to the next on a form. Also, one left click gives the drop down instead of right click. I have checked everything in properties and can't figure it out. It is not in left hand mode.

My computer has 34 critical viruses in it. It won't allow me to even allow me to install an antivirus. Every time I try to install one it always pops up a little box and says the file is in infected. I can't even adjust my sound b/c the little white box pops up. When it does get on the internet spyware keeps popping up saying i'm infected....popups from the bar down at the bottom keeps popping up saying i'm infected. Then a red and yellow box pops up saying i'm being attacked by an internet virus and something about togglers i think. I'm far from a computer person. I am a beginner so please be very specific about answers or any more questions you have to help solve this problem. My computer was bought on ebay for 120 dollars and i believe the virus came with it. It doesn't even start normally. when i turn it on it has a blue screen pop up saying error and you have to push enter then a blue box pops up with options to enter the date and time b/c it always restarts itself on 00. then a box pops up and says 0/I with it blinking which means to turn off and turn back on. then once you do that the computer will start up. I don't have a lot of info about the computer itself. The previous owner peeled the windows sticker off the bottom found out when i called pawn shop to see if they could fix it. and they don't sell plain windows xp cd's anymore so i can't buy the disk to take it down there to them to see if they could fix it.
