I have removed the toolbar using the control panel add/remove way and while the toolbar is not showing up there or on the page itself, I am still seeing the "Welcome to the aol toolbar page" greeting on my internet browser page. I even called att for support service and the lady did many different things using Toolbar Cleaner, CCleaner, etc and I even went to the Toolbar Cleaner page and while the toolbar was "removed", the page still comes up on my Windows XP Explorer page.

I am trying to rewrite a modification to a server-layer program so that when it detects a chat word it plays a sound on my computer and not on the local server.

the (this._soundfile = "chimes.wav") plays the sound locally on the server machine - I need it to activate locally on my machine.

Few more details - the local directory and the server directory are simple copies of themselves and work through a GUI.exe - the alert command will need to activate the GUI.exe to play the sound locally on my computer.

it is possible for me to put in my folder details and such - i just have no idea how to identify that the file should play from my directory and not from the server directory.

some extra notes: i have no idea what i am doing!
I have made guessing that maybe i need to change the _soundfile parameters? or simply the alert parameters of which i have snipped out here.

Alternatively, even if the alert could activate the GUI window to flash in the foreground, that would be nice. either/or.

Hi all,

I'm a noob hacker trying to get a rudimentary site up for practice. I would like to use the following script I found to have an overlay for my login for: http://www.skipser.com/p/94/p/popup-b...

I got the form to work with my database and it logs in a user. The only problem is that when the user does something wrong (enters incorrect information or leaves the fields blank), the popup closes and generates an error message on a new page with only the content of the popup.

I want the user to see the error message upon pressing submit but I can't seem to figure out how to do that.

Can anyone help me figure out how to make this work? You can download the code from the URL.

My Acer crystal webcam has stopped working I get a msg "Bluetooth service not running" My device manager indicates no drivers for the Bluetooth peripheral device, also I get a msg Bluetooth license not found.

In WAS5.1 the GZIP filter is not working with *.do but same is working for *.jsp,*.html...
I googled and pasted the code but it is showing me class cast exception.
Same is working on Tomcat.
