Your router should have a tiny button at the back. If its anything like the linksys one, you may need a sharp instrument to press it. Usually hold it down for a few seconds. This will reset everything including password. The default for netgear I believe is username : admin password : password (or 1234 for older routers) What model router do you have? You can find more info from the netgear site. You might also be able to download the manual. http://kbserver.netgear.com/main.asp
