John's right...and hacking in would be difficult, and illegal.
You say this is urgent...if there is valid suspicion that the person has committed a crime, at least in the US, a law enforcement agency/District Attorney may be able to obtain a warrant to release of the contents of their email, etc.
If you try the hack route, you may end up in jail.
