What is the best way to convert M2ts vieo format to imovie supported format?

i have some family program video clips,but all clips are M2TS format,how can i edit on imovie?

M2TSW format is sony and panasonic hd camcorders output format.if you want to edit in imovie than you have to convert your clips first imovie suitable format like MOV format.You can download a good converter than convert it.
