SMS / mobile micro payments - how to?

I have a website, where I would like to charge a small fee for viewing specific content.
I've thought about payment per mobile phone, but how does that work technically?
Who are the providers, national or international? Does it require the same kind of verification as a merchant account to get a payment gateway?
Technically how difficult is it to implement?

sorry, i haven't had time to check it out yet.
I was looking for more like a general introduction to micropayments in order to know what to look out for etc.
