Does Hotmail have a pop3 server to access?
Is it possible to access Hotmail via pop3 and send via smtp instead of using their web interface?
I remember that once it was possible, but I'm not sure if it is anymore or how to find the information if it is.

Yes and no. Hotmail has POP3 available to some members who had joined prior to their paid services offering, and they offer it under one or more of their aforementioned paid packages.

It is still possible.... If you pay for it, I think it is called Hotmail Plus or something like that.
They stopped the support for pop3 and smtp for ordinary users one year ago if I remeber correctly...
