view state is checked at server side when is post back from client if viewstate MAC checked is enable and it throws error is value of viewstate is tamperered.

The weird thing is though, that I'm using asp.net 1.1 and they're talking about the issue happening when asp.net 2 was introduced.

i had a similar and I think related problem with viewstate and opera browsers.
