I dont know if you can get hold of a English language pack. What version o/s is it. Is it Vista?

I ended up just buying a Dell. They custom made the laptop for me with an English Operating System and also put an English Keyboard on it with all English Software.

Hi everyone,
you can buy computers in Spain with English OS on (all English Software in fact) from Computer Pitstop in Javea - Alicante. Just call 901 888 100 and ask the helpful staff about your needs. Dell is not recommended here in Spain as their Tech Support is really not too good, also refrain from buying laptops from Supermarkets as you will have no support (in particular Acer).

the best solution to buying an english laptop in Spain is a visit to Gibraltar. The store the locals use is Netgear their website is www.netgear.gi & tel: 00350 200 45600. You can find them in the lane between the cathedral and Marks and Spencers in Gibraltar.
