It could be copyrighted, I believe its something to do with DRM. So it must be always checking for the licence file to verify.
You can check the web for copying DRM protected files - always backup your downloaded movie first though :)

Good luck - and of course, use at your own risk. I have not tried these methods as I always avoid DRM.

don't get this wrong I am not trying to smart-ar5e you, but in the web community, typing in UPERCASE is the same as shouting! You might come across some people who are not as friendly as the people here at Quomon and they might tell you to "Eff Off" if you type upper case.
nidhi's advice is great and I am sure he is on the right track here!

Well, you can also use DRM Media Converter Tool, in order to get rid of DRM Protection from WMV video files. Once you remove the DRM protection after that you can easily watch your WMV files when you are not connected. The software also allow you to convert WMV video format to other video file format such as Mp4, AVI, MKV, MOV, etc so that you can enjoy watching your video on other portable devices.
