as for example we have 3wplayerconverter to convert the file which needs 3wplayer to play the movie.
there has to be a program which would help us to get rid of divocodec..any idea??

anyway, I'm not sure if it was the binary or the installer (nothing to install really, it's just an exe file) but the links were swapped last time, anyway, one of the two links contains a rar file which has a very simple executable that decompresses 3w files into their playable counterparts.
Since the divo codec isn't a codec at all, you want to remove it just as any other app. since it is a piece of $#%! malware ridden application, our friends at symantec have documented it's removal

hope this helps

I downloaded the link: 3wdecoder installer. But it did not work. Said that application is missing required files.
So I downloaded from the link: 3wdecoder binary
I ran the software 3wdecoder and it asked the file name of 'avi' to be converted and the new file name. I entered the details and pressed Convert button. The new file worked fine on my VLC Player and Media Player.
Try this process, if it still doesn't work then try getting .NET Framework 2.0+ and try it again.
Hope your problem gets solved.
