How do I MOVE the gradient in a circle, to be positioned more on TOP (not in the middle), in Illust
I do not want the gradient to be in the MIDDLE of the circle, rather more to the TOP. I am using Adobe Illustrator.

1: Draw a circle
2: Select the gradient tool on the toolbar (usually on the left)
3: With the circle selected, click on the spot within the circle that you want the highlight color to be on
This should do it for you. Let me know if you have problems.

I AM SORRY, BUT I DO NOT QUITE UNDERSTAND . I AM TRYING TO MAKE A RADIAL GRADIENT WITHIN A CIRCLE. WITH THE LIGHTER PART OF THE GRADIENT AUTOMATICALLY GOING IN THE CENTER OF THE CIRCLE. HOWEVER, I WOULD LIKE TO BE ABLE TO MOVE THAT LIGHTER PART OF THE GRADIENT MORE TO THE TOP OF THE CIRCLE. HOW CAN I DO THAT?

Actually, I am sorry. I figured out what you were trying to say. It Works! THank you.
Now I have another question. Everytime I make a gradient, it comes out in black/white. How can I change colors with the gradient?

You can change the color of the gradient by:
1: Select the White arrow tool on the left toolbar
2: With the white arrow, select the 1 point in the center of the circle where the highlight is
3: When the point in the center is selected, change the color on the toolbar to your desired color
That should do it. Hope that helps.

Thank you.
How do I make a BORDER/FRAME around a rectangle shape? For example, I want to make a blue rectangle with a "braided" look border. How do I do that on illustrator??
