2: Select the gradient tool on the toolbar (usually on the left)
3: With the circle selected, click on the spot within the circle that you want the highlight color to be on
This should do it for you. Let me know if you have problems.

Now I have another question. Everytime I make a gradient, it comes out in black/white. How can I change colors with the gradient?

1: Select the White arrow tool on the left toolbar
2: With the white arrow, select the 1 point in the center of the circle where the highlight is
3: When the point in the center is selected, change the color on the toolbar to your desired color
That should do it. Hope that helps.

How do I make a BORDER/FRAME around a rectangle shape? For example, I want to make a blue rectangle with a "braided" look border. How do I do that on illustrator??
