you have a corrupt registry. this is NOT caused by spyware, it's caused by a physical failure such as a scratched hard drive or abrupt power off.

Can you boot from CD? I know you said you had problems there as well. If so, see if you can go into the recovery console that way. You need to hit R (repair or recover one of them). You will need to know the administrator password also. To see commands, just type help at the prompt. Try chkdsk like oracle said.

remove any newly installed programs or hardware and try booting into normal mode again.
