If you are using Microsoft Word or any other package which comes under ms-office than you can do it upto before closing your application but if you are using notepad than you can do only once.

I was working on a .txt file with notepad and accidently overwrited the file. I had opened the same file twice and been working with them separately and i saved both and now the file is only partially the same. It took a long time. I feel so stupid. Is there a function to recover changes made to the text or would a file recovery utility help? Or has it overwritten the file on hardrive?Bored, you can take a turn on the www.weiku.com!

The first thing I need to ask is that where do you delete your message? If you are deleting the message on .txt file or Word file, you can simple click 'ctrl'+'A' to get the message back. If not, you can try some data recovery apps to get it back. Good luck.
