your email host may be blocking them, try sending them an email first then having them reply to it. that might fix your problem.
(with some server side spam blocking programs, sending them an email may automatically add them to the server's "White list")
otherwise, they may be sending them through a relay and failing validation. they may even be typing your address incorrectly. could you please post the error message in their return email? it has a lot of useful info on how to diagnose this.
