Have you updated your Explorer? Are you using IE, Mozilla, Netscape? If you have automatic updates set up it could have been lost this way. Also, if for some reason your toolbar became infected your Anti-Virus may have disabled it. Another user could have hopped on your PC and removed/changed the toolbar. If you right click on the area where the toolbar usually is you should see an option for AOL toolbar in the menu the shows up. Sometimes when installing software they tag on toolbars and if you don't uncheck the box for it, it will install it on your pc.

There are many reasons for your internet connection slow, such as your browser and windows system are not compatible, maybe you can try a pc cleaning software to handle your problem, try tuneup360, I'm sure it can surprise you!
