What percentage of people accept HTML formatted emails on average?
I am looking to send an email campaign, and I wanted to see if there were statistics on the percentage of people who accept HTML emails as opposed to only text emails.

Hi Shashi...where did you get that statistic from?

The statistics defer for each country and branch, but often people prefer HTML newsletters and plain text e-mails that contain important information. Keep in mind that HTML e-mails are more likely to get blocked by spam-filters when not properly implemented, so use valid HTML and test before sending.

Hi David,
Thanks for the input, but is there anywhere that has done a study with some hard statistics to go off of that is credible?
