How do you turn off the signature option in the administration area of a VBulletin Forum?

I am looking to make it so users are not allowed to put a signature on their posts to rid the site of more spammers.

Try the settings in the usergroups. Go to the usergroups manager and disable signature usage there. Gotta be done for all groups.
