if the latter you can do ctrl-f in ie. also search supported in firefox. Not sure about other browsers but Im sure it is.

Pressing the "Control" button and "F" at the same time worked perfectly, and did exactly what I needed it to do.

Out of interest, what browser are you using? If IE, just google ie shortcut keys and you will find pages like this

yes it is possible to search within a web page using the control button along with F7 key press it looks simple when you crawl or search over a web page.
