Compaq Armada M300 will not boot. How do I resolve this?
The laptop does not have a disk reader, [ floppy,CD,orDVD }. It kept hanging and then it would crash with the message " preparing to dump memory ", prefixed with a bunch of error numbers. It was clogged with useless files [ leftovers , tag ends and such ].I cleaned a lot of them. Then when I got enough out to where I could download a program,[ without it crashing ] , I down loaded CCleaner. I have used CCleaner for years without a problem. After using CCleaner , I got a blue screen with the error message " Kernel_Stack_Inpage_Error and it shut down. Since then [ when the computer tries to boot ] , the logo comes up and then after several minutes, I get the " Non System Disk or Disk Error , replace and Strike any Key " message. I was working in " safe mode ". The OS is Win2000 Pro.
Thanks, Don
