Before some days, I have faced same problem then i have used a Kernel Recovery for Macintosh tool to data recovery. I have recovered all data from HDD. The software functionality is very easy so every user can operate this software without technical knowledge. http://www.instructables.com/id/Using-Disk-Utility-to-Restore-Partition-Table-o

You’d better immediately purchase a new one to instead this old one for the safety of your future data.
But, now, to rescue your original drive data, you’d better try some hard drive data recovery software to deeply scan this drive and find all possible drive files back, like: http://external-hard-disk-recovery.blogspot.com/2014/06/external-hard-disk-data
-recovery.html
But, if data recovery software makes no difference, you’d better send it to data recovery companies or agencies to see what they can do to take your needed drive information back.
In the future, always save several copies of everything important on different drives well.
