the recipient email server will consider email as spam usually on the following circumstances:
1. the sender are valid SMTP host
when a mail reach the recipient email server, the email server will check if the sender came from a valid IP address.
So if you are using mass mailer program in your pc ensure the configuration are correct. Your SMTP setting, your return path and sender email address.
2. Network configuration. Domain, MX & DNS reverse lookup of the sender also plays a part. It mite be too technical for you to understand this, but I guess your IT Admin should do :)
3. Majority of email server currently has spam assasin installed that works based on the content of the email. Common words for that are marked as spam are usually like 'viagra, lotto, free'
if you like to try another mass mailer, you can try setup swiftmailer from http://swiftmailer.org
they also has a good tips for minimising email to be considered as spam, you can read the tips further at http://swiftmailer.org/wikidocs/v3/ti...
enjoy...
