how to connect vista and windows 7 laptops to existing hp wired printer on xp desktop
I have an xp desktop computer with an hp 5650 printer attached. The desktop connects to the internet via a wireless adaptor to our fios home network. This original setup works great.
I now have a vista laptop and a windows 7 laptop that access the internet fine thru our fios home network but I can not get them to print thru the existing printer connected to the desktop mentioned above.
Can you help?

Since the deskstop amd the two laptops are on the sanme network.
The xp desktop computer will be ur print server after installing the printer driver on the xp computer, Now run the ip add. or the computer name of the printer server e.g \\192.168.3.2 or \\sunmonu and you will see the computer on your system.Note that you must share the printer installed.Right click on the printer interface and click connect, if you prompt for anything click yes for XP. In the case of vista u will prompt to install the driver.Not all cases anyway.Enjoy it.

Thanks the author, very useful advice. my pc's internet connection is very slow, which always drive me crazy, I want a program to solve my slow computer, several days ago my friend recommend me a software tuneup360, now I'm waiting for the result.
