Well you didnt specify its field of expertise, for gaming in general, an xp computer is best, for fast internet and high requirement games and presentations and other high quality applications, use windows vista and 7 but i do not know about linux or mac.

Windows XP is a little more demanding on system resources than Ubuntu and its cousins, but not significantly so. It It would probably be hard to tell the difference between the three in a blind test. The main disadvantages of XP simply stem from the features that it will never have. There is a wider range of battery management options in new versions of Windows, and home networking is also morestraight-forward on a liux or Windows 7 machine.

I think Windows 7 may be better. I like its application. What's more, if one day I forgot Windows 7 password I can choose many different simple ways to reset, no matter free or paid.

There is no doubt that Windows 7 has been the most widely-used system in the world. I used to use Windows XP and now I have changed to Windows 7.
No matter what system you are using, try to create a powerful password to protect your data security. Remember to create a password reset disk or learn about some password reset tools such as Windows Login Recovery.

I prefer Windows 7. Windows XP and especially Windows Linux are somewhat too outdated. For example, you can esaily find Windows 7 password reset software, while it's not easy to download Windows Linux password reset tool when forgot it.
