Take a look at LinNT, it should allow you to boot up a cd and then change the admin password.

I would like to introduce Windows Password Recovery Tool 3.0 . it not only supports XP, 2000, and NT, I have personally tested it with Vista Home Premium and Ultimate. It works perfectly to reset any local user account to a blank password. I Wrote it to an old 128mb USB flash drive do this. Forgot windows password?Do not be so anxious. I know a tool which can help reset windows password, need not to reinstall the windows os, its safely and easily.By using "Any Windows Password Recovery 3.0 " ,could be helpful.

I think you have to make a windows password reset disk with third part utility. Burn a boot CD with the program, and insert it into the problem computer and your password will be reset to “Blank”, without losing any data and you needn't reinstall windows OS. Lost windows password is not a big problem .I realize an easy method to reset lost windows password, just need to produce a windows password reset bootable CD/DVD or USB flash drive to reset forgotten windows password,I have made a bootable USB flash generate using the tool Windows Password Seeker and reset my administrator password successfully.More information in http://www.passwordseeker.com

Just set a logon password to protect your laptop,the method is so easy,just do it by the following steps one by one:
Step 1 From the Start menu, click on "Control Panel".
Step 2 Click on the "user account".

If you lost windows password, you can go into safe mode (F8 when booting up) to recover windows password while you forgot user account password,but if you forgot administrator password,there is no way to change administrator password while you forgot it,you must use software to recover administrator password.my favorite is Windows Password Recovery 9.0.http://www.windows-password-recovery.com

Lost windows os passwords isn't really a serious problem. I realize an easy solution to reset lost windows login passwords, only need to create a bootable disk or Usb stick to recover lost windows password, I have made a bootable Dvd with the windows password tool and reset my admin password successfully.
