Erm if you are on about a site you can view old sites via http://www.archive.org/web/web.php .

There isn't a way to do this unless the site you are working with does it for you.
If you hit the back button of your browser and your input no longer appears then it is really gone. And there is no way to recover.
Generally, before inputting data in a large form, open a notepad session and type your data there. Then just copy and paste from notepad to the large form. That way you don't lose your data.
