Html5 vs native apps for mobiles?

I'm wondering which is the way to go when developing apps for mobiles?

Html5 or native Iphone, Android etc. apps? I know Facebook started with Html5, but switched to native, so perhaps it's just not as big an advantage in terms of crossdeveloping in html5?

Probably, I might expect that mobile app developers will need to build native apps over Html5 then they can charge increasingly for services and updates. For small medium concern there would be such a negative view on speed of updates with HTML5. From a large enterprise perspective this is the very reason HTML5 wins over native because it's one update for all OS' at a fraction of the cost and deployment time. HTML5 is beneficial. Because application developed with the help of HTML 5 is compatible with all devices. It is even less costly and less time consuming then native application developed through HTML5 are accessed by chrome, firefox, safari. Native application is for IOS or swift.
