Answer Question
Syntax to submit form to two cgi scripts simulaneously - is this possible
I am setting up DadaMail to send e-newsletters and my client would like to get the user when they subscribe to tell them if they are already on their mailing list, and if so, give some info to help her match the new email subscription to their files.
I know phplist will collect this type of info this natively, but it's interface isn't user friendly enough, and besides I've already set up DadaMail.
So what I'd like to do is create a subscription form that sends the email address to the dadamail script and the remainder of the data to my client via email, but that looks to the user like a single form with a single submit button. Is it just a matter of putting two actions (separated by a comma or something) in the form action? If so, what I need is the syntax for that. I haven't seen it covered in the online tutorials.
I realize I could have the response from the form refer the person to a second page where they fill in a second form, but that would mess with the automatic identify confirmation thing that Dada Mail does, which I want to keep.
