Answer Question
How do make 2 requests from the same session?
We have legacy Web based application in which the flow is as follows:
1. From a Parent Window the user uploads a big file(say 30 MB .doc file). There are three stages this files goes through - Upload, Import, Convert. All these happen without user intervention.
2.A Child window is popped up. The Child window tries to refesh itself after every second to know whether the file got uploaded, Imported and Converted. And it reflects the same to user by corrosponding gifs which it gets from server.
The problem is there when bigger files are used and not there when smaller files are used. I think problem is because two requests are being made per session to the server. The second request (from Child window ) is not getting the attention of the server. Even though ASP.NET is supposed to take care of concurrent requests from the same session on its own at the server but somehow it is not getting through.
