im no expert but i have had slow running browsers several times for differing reasons...
i may be able to help if you can be more discriptive.....
plus what 3rd partie softwares do you use...i.e. anti/spyware/virus/firewall...
does this problem occur on every site...??
have you tried the simple solutions from rebooting your router to deleting all your tempory caches etc....
what have you yourself done so far to try and remedy the situation...
this info will give us more insight into your problem,, for instance you may have already tried doing a restore back to a date prior to your problem already....
i will bookmark this page now....and see if i can help you out in the coming few days should you still need it.....
i only found the site whilst googling for an auto refresh for internet explorer...
maybe we will both get what we want......

I never got this resolved...I just switched to Firefox. The issue just started all the sudden. I am running McAfee Antivirus...but that had not changed...
Firefox works fine for me now, so that is my solve. The only time I use IE anymore is for some browser testing where the process is still very annoying.
