I would like to use my wireless laptop to print on the same printer as the main computer.
My printer is connected direct to my desk top main computer. My previous printer
broke and now I can not print from my wireless laptop.If want to print I have to
move the wire from my main computer to the laptop. Can you help me?

Does your printer have wireless capability. If yes then you can create an adhoc connection between the printer and your laptop or a secured connection using a dhcp router like linksys etc.
If not then you can use a hub and connect both you r desktop as well as your laptop to the hub and then finally to the printer.Make sure you have the dirver installed in both the desktop as well as the portable

you have to share the printer on the network, and enter the main computer on the network form the laptop. and to this:
1. on the main computer, right click the printer and click on sharing. and choose the option share this printer.
2. then go to the laptop and click on run at the start menu. enter \\192.168.0.1 which is the ip address of the main computer, you wil see the printer.. double click it and choose yes..
with this way you will get the printer shared.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH. MY MISTAKE WAS THAT I HAVE TO TURN
ON THE MAIN COMPUTER. IF TURN OFF YOU CAN NOT PRINT.
