Check out this freebie software called CCleaner. Its pretty good and one I use on a regular basis.
It can clear the cache, history, cookies etc of the main browsers in just a click of a button.
You also have a choice of keeping what cookies you want as well as registry cleaning, uninstalling, and checking startups.
Software is very easy to use even for non techies

Recently I find functional software which can fix all these problems just with one click: tuneup360, maybe you guys could have a try.
