I have tried ALL the conventiential ways to remove the aol toolbar from my Windows XP browser page.

I have removed the toolbar using the control panel add/remove way and while the toolbar is not showing up there or on the page itself, I am still seeing the "Welcome to the aol toolbar page" greeting on my internet browser page. I even called att for support service and the lady did many different things using Toolbar Cleaner, CCleaner, etc and I even went to the Toolbar Cleaner page and while the toolbar was "removed", the page still comes up on my Windows XP Explorer page.

go to the browser>options

and change the default web page to google.com or to 'show blank page'

GO TO BROWSER

INTERNET EXPLORER

->TOOLS-> INTERNET OPTIONS->PROGRAMS->MANAGE ADDONS AND DELETE THAT ONE

IN GOOGLE CHROME

OPTIONS-> SETTINGS->SETPAGES DELETE THAT UNWANTED PAGES AND SET U WANT

THEN

AND SAME OPTIONS -> SETTINGS IN LEST SIDE PANEL THER IS ONE OPTION FOR EXTENSION ->DELETE WAHT U DONT WANT
