How can I use a proxy server to change certain links on a website into regular, unclickable text?

hey!!

I'm trying to use Proxy that make a backup of a website forum that is giving me quite a few problems (with cookies and authentication and such), so the only thing that works is logging in and using the scrapbook extension. well did you know about where to buy proxies for scrapebox, and there are a number of links on each page that I want to filter out.
