Can I have IE7 and IE6 installed on the same computer at the same time?

I need to be able to test my web applications in Internet explorer 7 and internet explorer 6, but I don't know if IE7 replaces IE6 or they are able to run alongside each other?
My operative system is windows xp professional.

Sorry to forgot to mention if you installed IE7 without using any of the above trick. IE7 is going to replace IE6...

no. ie7 is going to repalce ie6.In my opinion, the fastest way to become a computer expert is to have a powerful software in your PC, tuneup360 is such a software, have it in your computer, you can handle all the problems by yourself.
