Izzonet as known is paid easy solution for someone who try to open an eCommerce website, otherhand Magento is free open sources shopping carts software. Both platform possess it's own advantages and disadvantages.
If you didn't familiar with programming and won't hire someone to create site for you, just go with Izzonet. These platform simply create eCommerce site based on pre made templates which come with their feature, host your site, set up payments gateways system, etc.
Magento as it's open sources can be easily modified by someone who familiar with programming. Going into Magento isn't recommended for someone who doesn't familiar with designing site. Magento sometimes gets a bad press for being too complex and server resource-intensive. Both are fair comments, but should not put you off considering Magento. With the right developers on board and a high-end hosting environment, Magento can provide extensive functionality at open source level.

I would choose Magento for an e-Commerce site. WP is good but mostly for tiny shops with a few products as WP is still a blogging platworm while Magento has been specifically designed for online shops. However, you should understand that you'll need some customizations and extensions. This may seem expensive but it really pays off.
My favourite extensions developer is Amasty, you may find their mods at http://amasty.com/magento-extensions....
And I think you'll definatelly need a template no matter which platform you'll choose. You can also design it yourself.
